Where RegSig’s regulatory inputs come from

RegSig turns regulatory documents into scored, evidence-linked signals mapped to products. This page names every source we read, and says which ones produce live signals today and which are still in review.

  • 200+ markets
  • 5 regions
  • Codex to local enforcement

Live signals today

These sources produce the signals you see in the product:

  • U.S. FDA: Federal Register rules, guidance and warning letters
  • USDA FSIS: labeling and inspection rules and guidance
  • Codex Alimentarius: standards and committee proposals
  • U.S. state agencies: California, West Virginia, Michigan, Vermont and others as they are reviewed

Horizon dates, and sources in review

Horizon also reads the Federal Register, the Unified Agenda, OIRA (reginfo.gov), the FDA Human Foods Program agenda, U.S. state legislatures (Open States) and Codex committee reports. Loaded and in review, not yet producing live signals:

  • EUR-Lex: European Union legislation
  • Brazil ANVISA
  • APAC national food agencies
  • UK and EU pet food sources

Into signals you can triage

Regardless of source, outputs consolidate into signal records with origin metadata (source type, authority, jurisdiction), evidence links, and Act / Prepare / Monitor posture—mapped to your portfolio on assessment.

Governance & access

Signals stay tied to evidence; ingredient research needs no roster; portfolio impact stays owned—built for operator review, not opaque alerts.

Start auditing when you are ready, or request institutional access for enterprise onboarding.

  • Human-in-the-loop review stays in operator workflows.
  • Recommendations remain evidence-linked and auditable.
  • Portfolio mapping is role-aware with explicit ownership.
